Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the company’s long-term strategic plan in alignment with organizational goals and market trends.
- Identify new growth opportunities, both domestically and internationally, and lead the expansion of product lines, markets, and partnerships.
2. Financial Management:
- Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring sustainable profitability.
- Make informed financial decisions to allocate resources effectively and maximize shareholder value.
3. Operations Management:
- Implement operational efficiencies and lean manufacturing practices to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Ensure the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
4. Team Development:
- Provide inspirational leadership to a diverse team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Identify and nurture talent, promoting professional development and succession planning.
5. Stakeholder Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, investors, and other key stakeholders.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums, enhancing the company’s reputation and visibility.
6. Innovation and Technology:
- Drive innovation by staying abreast of technological advancements in manufacturing and integrating relevant technologies into company operations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation throughout the organization.
7. Risk Management and Compliance:
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Implement effective risk management practices to safeguard the company’s assets and reputation.
Qualifications:
- Overall 15+ years experience and about 2-5 years of a proven track record of successful leadership in the manufacturing industry, preferably at a mid-sized or larger engineering/ manufacturing organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities, with a track record of driving business growth and profitability.
- Excellent financial acumen and experience in managing budgets, financial statements, and investment decisions.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders including internal, external and government.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
- Knowledge of technological trends in manufacturing and their potential applications to improve operational efficiency.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of local languages is a plus.
